Tesla's new Roadster drove upside down, then flew.
At last night's reveal at SpaceX's Texas test site, the prototype climbed a looping ramp on fan suction, used SpaceX cold-gas thrusters to fly and barrel-roll, and hit 0–60 in a claimed 0.81 seconds. Deposits start at $50,000, and production is set for 2028, nine years after the first promise.
